To calibrate this thermometer, fill a glass with ice and water and leave for two to three minutes, stirring occasionally. Insert the probe of the thermometer into the water and wait for 15-30 seconds. Check that the thermometer reads 0?C or 32?F. If it does, the thermometer is accurate and ready to use. If not, it requires calibration. With the probe still in the icy water, press and hold the red RESET button using a pointed instrument and adjust the reading to 0?C or 32?F. The thermometer is now ready for use. For best performance, calibrate the thermometer weekly.
